Renee' Koenig

Renee'Renee' is a co-founder and the assistant director of the St. Francis Center.    She is an Audire trained spiritual director and member of Spiritual Director's International.  Renee' is a trained supervisor for the Audire School for Spiritual Director's in Winter Park, FL. She has created and presented parish renewal weekends and has worked establishing lay ministry programs.  Renee' was certified to present Enneagram retreats in 200? in the Spectrum Tradition of Jerome Wagner, PhD. from Loyola University.  She has been married for 50+ years and has 4 children, 6 grandchildren. 

Along with her husband, Walt, she was part of team that started Episcopal Marriage Encounter in the Diocese of Chicago and Episcopal Engaged Encounter, nationally.  Renee' and Walt were a presenting couple for both Marriage and Engaged Encounter for several years in the 80's. She facilitates women's groups on spiritual growth.  She and Walt also have a ministry of hospitality and often house the guest speakers at the center. Renee', a native Floridian, returned to Florida in 1993.  She is a Certified Travel Consultant (CTC) and specialized in small group travel especially to Europe and the Holy Land. She holds a Master Gardener certificate in the state of Florida. For fun she likes the beach, swimming, nature, decorating, faux painting, gardening and spending time with her family (three married children & spouses and 6 grandchildren).  She also enjoys free lance travel with her husband, particularly by rail, through wine country, stopping at churches, cathedrals and holy places.   Renee' is available, by appointment, for spiritual direction.


Nancy Cartelli

NancyNancy is an Audire-trained spiritual director, doing spiritual direction at St. Francis Center.  She is a member of Spiritual Director's International and has a Master's degree in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University New Orleans. She is a certified enneagram workshop presenter (by Dr. Jerome Wagner), and has co-presented enneagram workshops with Renee Koenig most recently in 2012 and 2013.

As a member of the National Association of Catholic Chaplains, for the past four years she has worked as a hospice chaplain, caring for the spiritual and emotional needs of patients and their loved ones.  In this position she is also provides grief support and counseling.  Nancy is a parishioner at Ascension Catholic Community where she also does spiritual direction.  She has been involved in parish ministry for fifteen years, which has included worship activities (lector, and Eucharistic minister), adult faith formation (RICA and bible studies), children's faith (children's liturgy, character education) and women's spirituality (women's retreats and MOMS).

Nancy was born in New York, but has lived in Florida for the last 23 years. She is the single mother of two college aged daughters.  Before children, she studied medicine at Columbia University and practiced pediatrics at two university teaching hospitals. After the birth of her daughters and their move to Florida, she continued to work part-time in pediatrics, but has since retired from pediatric practice.  In addition to valuing her time with her daughters, extended family and friends, she loves yoga, dance, and film. 


Fr. Matthew Linn S.J.

Fr. Matt                                                                                                                                                               Fr. Matthew Linn, SJ (as a team with Dennis and Sheila Linn) has focused on integrating physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.  He is a member of the Association of Christian Therapists and has advanced graduate degrees in sociology, anthropology, spirituality, & theology.  Since 1970 he has taught courses and given retreats on healing in every state and in over 60 countries from Alaska to Australia.  Ordained in l973 he currently lives in a Jesuit community in Minneapolis where he trains spiritual directors at Sacred Ground and serves on the editorial board of Presence: An International Journal of Spiritual Direction.   Matt, Dennis, and Sheila have written 21 books translated in over 20 languages, (all in Spanish) and with over a million copies in English.   

Karen Messitt

KarenMessittKaren is a Registered Nurse with certificates in Critical Care and Trauma.  Over the past ten years she has participated in many programs offered by the St. Francis Center and  has completed her first year of Audire.

She particularly enjoyed her involvement with the Healthcare Conclave in which various healthcare systems, universities and pastoral care communities networked to "take the pulse" of healthcare today.  She helped pilot a program with Carol Ludwig on Compassionate Self-Care for Nurses. 

By examining issues of Nurse Burnout, Moral Distress and Compassion Fatigue, Karen hopes to help rekindle  personal satisfaction in the heart of healthcare workers.

Dawn E. Reichard

DawnDawn is an ordained minister in The United Methodist Church.  After years as a school teacher and resource room specialist, a stockbroker, and a sales representative for business systems, Dawn answered God’s call to ordained ministry. She graduated with honors in 1990 from Perkins School of Theology in Dallas, Texas with a Masters of Divinity.  During her 21 years as a congregational pastor, Dawn founded a new congregation in Fleming Island, FL, and then was appointed to Christ by the Sea UMC in Vero Beach.  In 2011 she retired to care for her husband and to pursue spiritual companioning with individuals and small groups.  Dawn is an Audire-trained spiritual director and a member of Spiritual Directors International.  

Rev. Rosalie Norman-McNaney

Rosalie                                                                                                                                                           Rev.Rosalie Norman-McNaney is a spiritual director, ordained American Baptist Minister, author, and conference and retreat leader. She brings over thirty-five years combined experience in conceptualizing and implementing innovative transformational programs.
